Sama Bilbao y León is Director General of World Nuclear Association and also President of World Nuclear University.  She has more than 20 years of diverse experience in nuclear engineering and energy policy; having worked with distinction in industry, academia and having held high level positions at OECD/NEA and IAEA.

Sama holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,  a master’s degree in Energy Technologies, as well as a  master's degree and a PhD in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics and an MBA . Sama is one of founders of the North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NA-YGN).

Counselor at law with experience in the regulatory sector and a PhD in economic sciences. She specializes in regulatory affairs, consumer policy and competition law, as well as energy law and labor law. She has authored and co-authored academic papers on energy and business law. For more than 20 years, she ran a law firm of legal advisors and worked with all the largest, mainly private energy companies in Poland. During her career, she also worked as an in-house lawyer for energy companies.  Long-time Judge of the Disciplinary Court of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Katowice.     

Academic teacher, lecturer, researcher, speaker at national and international conferences. Professor and head in the Department of Energy Transformation at the University of Economics in Katowice, former coordinator of the European project “Tools for diversity”. She also lectures at universities in Europe, including Saarbrücken (Germany) and Granada (Spain). She was ACC Europe's representative in Poland for several years.  

On December 13, 2023, she was appointed as Minister of Industry of the Republic of Poland.

Rafał is the CEO of Orlen Synthos Green Energy, a company dedicated to deploying a fleet of BWRX-300 reactors. Previously, Rafał served as the CEO of Synthos Green Energy. 

For nearly two decades, he was a Managing Partner at a strategic consulting firm, advising numerous companies in the energy, oil, telecommunications, and commodities sectors. His notable clients included PKN ORLEN, Synthos, Mercuria Energy Trading, Orange, Polkomtel, GE Capital, GE International, GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy, KGHM Polish Copper, and others. Additionally, Rafał has worked as a gas and oil consultant for the Ministry of the Treasury, the World Bank, and the largest crude oil supplier to Poland. From 2000 to 2002, Rafał was a member of the Supervisory Board of the Polish National Gas and Oil. 

He graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Warsaw in 1998 and from the Warsaw School of Economics in 2002. Rafał also earned an MBA from the University of Quebec, Montreal, in 2004 and completed PhD studies in Artificial Intelligence at the Polish Academy of Sciences. He has held fellowships from the Reuters Foundation, the U.S. Department of State (twice), the German Marshall Fund of the United States, the Howard Gilman Foundation, and US Freedom House. 

Mr. Masanori Tsuruda was appointed Deputy Commissioner for International Affairs at METI’s Agency for Natural Resources and Energy in July 2024.

He has a rich experience in energy and climate related policies. Prior to the current assignment, he served as Director-General for General Affairs at New Energy Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) which is the government arm responsible for the implementation of METI’s energy and climate projects including through the massive “Green Innovation Fund.” He also served as Director for European Affairs at METI from 2018 to 2021 when there was a growing awareness over carbon neutrality goals around the world. In addition, he was assigned at the Embassy of Japan in the Russian Federation in 2012, in the Republic of Iraq in 2009, and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2005, with a special focus on Japan’s energy security.

He joined METI in 1998, He has a diverse experience through serving at various offices inside METI, including Director for General Affairs Division of Electricity and Gas Market Surveillance Commission (ESG) and Director for Space Industry Division. His expertise also covers economic and technical cooperation policy, energy efficiency policy, and manufacturing industry policy. 

Mr. Tsuruda earned a Bachelor of Engineering from Kyushu University in 1996. He also earned a Master in Public Administration in 2002 from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, USA

Shuo KAN, Deputy Director of the Project Management Department at China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNPE), holds a Master's degree and is a Senior Engineer. He is also a member of the Digitalization Sub-Committee of CNPE’s Science and Technology Committee, and the Executive Deputy General Manager of the Jin Qimen Digitalization Project Department. 

He has participated in the construction of the Fuqing Units 1–6, Fangjiashan Units 1 and 2, Hainan Units 3 and 4, as well as small modular reactor (SMR) nuclear power projects. He was previously responsible for equipment procurement in the Hainan Units 3 and 4 and SMR nuclear power projects. He is currently in charge of the construction and deployment of CNPE’s Smart Engineering Platform. 

Jeremy Harrison holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Canadian History from the University of Alberta, a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, and a Juris Doctor (Law) Degree from the University of Saskatchewan.

Jeremy was elected to Parliament in 2004, and at the age of 26 became one of the youngest Canadians ever to sit in the House of Commons. He was elected to the Saskatchewan Legislature in 2007. He is the youngest Canadian ever to have been elected to both the House of Commons and a provincial Legislative Assembly.

He has served as the Minister of Municipal Affairs, Minister of Enterprise Saskatchewan, Government House Leader, Minister Responsible for Immigration, Jobs, Skills and Training, Minister of the Economy, Minister responsible for the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority, Minister responsible for the Global Transportation Hub, Minister of Trade and Export Development, Minister of Immigration and Career Training, and Minister responsible for the Saskatchewan Research Council.

Jeremy is currently the Minister of Crown Investments Corporation, and the Minister responsible for SaskPower, SaskEnergy, SaskTel, SGI, SaskWater, and Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan. He also serves as the Minister responsible for the Public Service Commission.

Jeremy and his wife Alaina have one son, MacGregor, and one daughter, Finnley.

King Lee is the Head of Policy and Industry Engagement at World Nuclear Association. Mr Lee lead the policy and strategic outreach activities of the Association, promoting nuclear energy by working with the nuclear community to engage with key policy makers and stakeholders on the important role of nuclear energy as part of the clean energy system for sustainable development. Mr Lee oversee the Association’s Working Groups to support industry to share, collaborate and define collective industry positions. He also represents the Association at international forums including leading cooperation with key international institutions, such as United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Clean Energy Ministerial and World Energy Council.

Previously, Mr Lee was Head of Nuclear Development at Lloyd’s Register, where he led strategic business development and provided technical and commercial oversight major nuclear projects in UK, China, Korea and UAE.

Mr Lee is the Chair of UNECE Nuclear Fuel Working Group and Vice Chair of UNECE Group of Experts on Cleaner Electricity Systems. Mr Lee was the Vice-Chair of the Energy Institute Process Safety Committee. He is a member of the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) Nuclear Innovation 2050 Advisory Panel and Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) Flexible Nuclear Campaign Working Group.

Andy Fry is the Global Supply Chain Development Leader for GE Vernova Hitachi BWRX-300 with over 30 years of international experience in Aerospace, Defense, Nuclear and Energy industries.  

He joined GE in 2022 as Executive lead Cost Out and Advanced Manufacturing in offshore wind based in France. He brings deep supply chain delivery knowledge from Aerospace complemented through his recent transformation roles in tier 1s. Andy has worked in the USA, France, Netherlands and Canada. 

Prior to this Andy worked in the UK as VP Supply Chain and Programmes in Aerospace and then a Nuclear SMR programme. The transition from a product / production environment in Aerospace serves well in developing build concepts for Nuclear Power Plants and then Offshore Wind. 

Andy is a specialist in supply chain development and new product introduction. In his current role Andy is responsible for developing the Global Supply Chain for BWRX-300 SMR deployments with a strong focus on regional supply chain design and development for cost and schedule certainty. 

Andy is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Loughborough University and a Whitworth Scholar. 

Having joined the EDF Group initially as an R&D engineer in 1999 in the context of energy market deregulation across Europe, V. Ramany progressively developed a thorough expertise of all techno-economical aspects driving the electricity business through various leading roles in generation mix management, market risk management and customer portfolio management. In 2008, V. Ramany joined the EDF Group CFO’s office to support the company's endeavors to grow its international business, notably working on major acquisitions, including that of the British nuclear power generation fleet by EDF. In 2011, V. Ramany moved to the UK arm of EDF in London as M&A and Investments Director. As such he led the efforts of the Group to honor its major commitments to the European Commission following the acquisition of British Energy, initiated the refinancing strategy of EDF's UK renewable business and has been a leading contributor to securing funding for the 3200MW Hinkley Point C nuclear new build project in the UK. Since 2015 V. Ramany leads the international new nuclear development activities for the EDF Group, encompassing the development of new nuclear projects, of international strategic cooperations in the nuclear domain and of export nuclear technologies. 

Vivek Sharma is a distinguished business leader with over 24 years of experience in the energy and natural resources sector. He currently heads the Energy Strategy at Adani Group, driving strategic planning and management decision support across all energy businesses. Additionally, Vivek leads the Nuclear Business of the group, where he is currently working closely with key stakeholders, including NPCIL, on setting up first private sector-backed nuclear power plants, forging key technology and commercial partnerships, and overseeing the group’s nuclear portfolio expansion. 

In his dual role, Vivek also steers key strategic initiatives across the energy sector value chain, including thermal energy, dispatchable renewable energy, green hydrogen, energy storage, and digital transformation. Prior to his current roles, Vivek served as the Senior Director and practice leader at CRISIL Infrastructure Advisory, where he led projects in power sector development, renewable energy promotion, and completed numerous PPP M&A transactions.  

He has been a key participant on various power sector reform committees, including the V.K. Shunglu Committee, and has been recognized with the Young Professional Award for his contributions to renewable energy. He has also been working closely with key government and private sector leaders in India’s nuclear energy sector on evolution of the legislative framework for private sector participation and accelerating India’s nuclear program. 

Vivek holds an MBA from Delhi University and is an economist by training. He is a prolific author with two books on regulatory reforms in the infrastructure sector and numerous articles to his credit. He also holds positions in several industry bodies, including Elected Member of the CII Gujarat State and Western Region Councils, Member of the CII National Committee on Renewable Energy, and Co-Chairperson of the ASSOCHAM Council on Thermal Generation. 

Starting September 2017, Mr. Cosmin Ghita is the CEO of Nuclearelectrica and starting 2019 he is the only Romanian member of the WANO Main Governing Board.

He started his career within Chevron's, Washington, DC office contributing to Chevron’s initiatives in Romania and Eastern Europe. During 2015 - 2017, Mr. Cosmin Ghita was partner in Amerocap, a New York-based energy and natural resource private investment firm, where he supported projects in Romania, Ukraine and Great Britain. Later on, he was appointed Advisor to the Prime Minister of Romania overseeing energy affairs.

Mr. Ghita was also involved in the establishment of Aspire Academy, a leadership and business summer program led by Harvard and Ivy League Professors in Romania. Cosmin Ghita is a graduate of Bates College, Maine, US, with a major in International Political Economy, and also sits on the Board of Trustees of the American International School of Bucharest. 

Carl Berglöf serves the Swedish government as appointed national nuclear new-build coordinator since Feb 2024. Previously he was a senior advisor at Swedenergy and manager of the Swedish Atomic Forum where he represented the Swedish nuclear industry towards the national and international policymakers and institutions. 

In his current role he is advising the Swedish government in shaping the nuclear power development strategy, including regulatory framework, supply chain and skills & workforce infrastructure. 

Mr. Pekka Pyy holds M.Sc in the area of nuclear engineering and Ph.D. in the area of risk assessment and reliability engineering from the LUT University of Technology in Finland (Finland). He has almost 40 years of experience in nuclear industry both with nuclear companies & projects, TSOs (VTT research in Finland) and international organizations. Dr. Pyy has, e.g., worked in EU Joint Research Centre Ispra (1989-90), OECD NEA (2002-2007) and now for IAEA  since 2015. He holds the position of Senior Expert at the IAEA Division of Nuclear Power and leads the topics of management, quality & supply chain and, for example, moderates the related webinar series. Apart from working with the operating installations, Dr. Pyy also leads the Nuclear Harmonization & Standardization (NHSI) Industrial Track Topical Group 2 “Common Approaches on Codes & Standards” especially focussing on near-deployment SMRs. 

Janne Mokka, Vice President Co-owned Nuclear: Janne has been serving as the head of Fortum’s Co-owned Nuclear business since August 2023, overseeing Fortum's co-owned nuclear strategy. Before taking on this role, Janne held various positions within the industry, including President and CEO of Posiva Oy (2014-2023) and Senior Vice President of the OL4 project at TVO. 

In addition, he has held several Board positions in Rauman Lukko Oy, Posiva Solutions Oy, SM-liiga Oy and Contineo Oy.  

He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Tampere University of Technology. 

Hiroyuki GOTO holds a Master's degree in Energy Science from Kyoto University. With nearly two decades of experience at Nuclear Power Division of Kansai Electric Power Company, he has cultivated deep expertise in nuclear power plant operations and on-site equipment management. He played a key role in comprehensive safety enhancements and regulatory reviews after the Fukushima Daiichi accident, leading to the successful restart of Ohi units 3 and 4. At the Nuclear Division Headquarters, he also addressed complex technical and operational challenges, contributing significantly to the safe and reliable operation of the company's nuclear fleet. As Chief Manager of Nuclear Energy Strategy Planning, he now spearheads the strategic direction of Kansai Electric's nuclear power generation business, encompassing all aspects of the fuel cycle. 

Mr. Chokshi is a Mechanical Engineer with an Executive MBA from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and advanced management training from Kellogg School of Management. Since joining Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in 1991, he has accumulated 33 years of experience, contributing to L&T Heavy Engineering’s strategic growth across Nuclear Equipment, Process Plant Reactors, Proposal Engineering, Project Management, and Manufacturing. 

He has led major nuclear initiatives, securing prestigious orders from ITER. His team has contributed to critical Nuclear Island equipment for Indian PHWR, reinforcing L&T’s role as a key player in the domestic nuclear supply chain. 

Additionally, under his leadership, L&T has delivered high-value Process Plant Reactors and critical equipment for major global clients, including Fluor, Bechtel, McDermott, ExxonMobil, and Shell, executing landmark projects such as the world’s largest Hydrocracker Reactor order (USD 421 million) and the world’s heaviest LC Max Reactors (2,300 MT each for HPCL Vizag). 

Mr. Chokshi spearheads digital transformation initiatives, including iRudra, positioning L&T Heavy Engineering as a tech-driven provider of complex engineering solutions, while ensuring continued leadership in process plant and nuclear advancements. 

Gary Rose has been the EVP of Nuclear, Canada at AtkinsRéalis since July 2023 and is the President, Candu International. Mr. Rose is responsible for Candu’s Global OEM Services and all International projects at Candu 
Energy Inc, an AtkinsRéalis company. Candu Energy Inc. is the steward and exclusive licensee of the Canadian owned CANDU® technology. 
His role includes overall general management of the Candu International business ensuring on-time and on-budget work in support of refurbishment projects in Romania (Cernavoda 1), China (TQNPC 1 and 2), and the Candu New Build project in Romania (Cernavoda 3 and 4). 
Mr. Rose is also responsible for the oversight of Candu’s Global OEM Services business which provides Engineering and Field Inspection and Maintenance Services, and nuclear specified and manufactured parts for all existing CANDU reactors in Ontario (16), New Brunswick (1), Argentina (1), South Korea (3), Romania (2), and China (2).
Previously, for over 35 years, Mr. Rose worked at OPG, most recently as Vice-President of New Nuclear Growth. He has been responsible for the development of new nuclear opportunities in Ontario and continues to support other geographies on their journey to nuclear, both in Canada and abroad. Mr. Rose is a very experienced executive, whose career at OPG has included positions in energy management and corporate finance as 
well as senior roles on both the Pickering A Return to Service Project and the Darlington Refurbishment Program including retube and feeder replacement (RFR). He represented the Refurbishment Program at several Ontario Energy Board hearings.
A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Mr. Rose is the past chair of the Durham College Board of Governor’s board of Durham College and a graduate of the Rotman Director Education Program. He holds a Masters’ Certificate in Project Management and received his Project Management Professional (PMP) designation in 2003. He is also a certified corporate director (ICD.D).
Mr. Rose, a Canadian, was born in Newfoundland but moved to Ontario at a young age. He currently resides in Ontario and remains active in his community and participates on several not-for-profit Boards

I have been working in the nuclear industry for over fourteen years. I started as a Field Operator in the secondary circuit. Later, I worked as a Systems Engineer, where I was responsible for the reliability and operability of steam turbines. Since last year, I have been working as a Project Manager, managing projects within the nuclear division. At the conference, I will be speaking about ČEZ's Approach to NPP Maintenance & the Development of Quality Control.

Monika has been working at IGEOS for 22 years, where she is playing a key role in strengthening the market position of Polish companies in the energy sector. 

For the past four years, she has been leading the development of the IGEOSNuclear division, which focuses on preparing the domestic industry to meet the demands of the nuclear power sector.  

Monika is responsible for implementing specialized training programs designed to enhance the competencies and adaptability of Polish companies to the rigorous standards of the nuclear sector. 

As a result of the IGEOSNuclear Team’s educational initiatives, more than 800 professionals from 400 companies have successfully completed training, strengthening the industry's readiness to meet nuclear sector requirements. 

She actively fosters collaboration with international organizations and institutes within the nuclear industry while also cultivating strong relationships with embassies of key partner countries for nuclear projects, including France, the United States, Canada, South Korea, Japan, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Finland. In cooperation with these entities, she organizes regular meetings, consultations, and knowledge-sharing exchanges. 

Domestically, she plays a crucial role in establishing connections with local government organizations, associations, and industry societies dedicated to advancing the Polish energy sector. 

Monika is a strong advocate for women in the energy industry and the key promoter of Women in Nuclear Poland, supporting initiatives aimed at increasing female participation in the field. 

Beyond her professional commitments, she has been leading the Silva & Lewinski Foundation for the past two years, focusing on promoting environmental protection and raising awareness about nuclear energy among socially marginalized children. 

Through her active participation in global energy events, she promotes and facilitates international collaborations that support the expansion of Polish companies into foreign markets. These efforts have become particularly significant in recent years as the Polish government continues to advance the Polish Nuclear Power Program (PPEJ). 

Agnieszka Skorupińska is a lawyer and partner at the Warsaw office of Baker McKenzie, where she heads up the Sustainability and Energy Transition team. She has many years of experience as a lawyer and partner working in the energy and projects departments of international law firms. Agnieszka brings extensive experience advising clients on energy, industrial and infrastructure projects. She is an expert in advising on the law as it relates to energy, the environment, natural resources and ESG. Businesses draw on her support to prepare and implement decarbonization plans, to achieve sustainable development goals, as well as to ensure that their operations comply with requirements arising from the European Green Deal, including circular economy requirements. 

Agnieszka advises on the regulatory aspects of M&A/PE transactions and greenfield direct investments, specializing in environmentally demanding sectors such as energy, chemicals, construction, food, packaging and waste. Agnieszka also represents clients in administrative and judicial proceedings in these areas. She helps with the comprehensive implementation of regulations related to sustainability reporting. She advised on numerous EPC projects from various perspectives.

Currently serves as a Senior Manager in the NewEnergy Future Strategy Team at Hyundai Engineering and Construction (HDEC), where he is responsible for technical sales of innovative energy technologies. Leveraging his extensive background in nuclear engineering, he contributes to establishing HDEC's future energy strategy and identifying new business opportunities. 

Previously at HDEC, he played a key role in conceptualizing a molten salt reactor design and managed the comprehensive safety evaluation system for high-level nuclear waste disposal in South Korea, focusing on his expertise in nuclear physics. 

Before joining HDEC, he spent over a decade at KEPCO Nuclear Fuel Company (KNF) in Daejeon, South Korea. As a Senior Researcher in the Core Engineering Department, he led various projects encompassing in-core fuel management, nuclear safety analysis, and fuel product management, gaining valuable experience in the nuclear fuel cycle and product lifecycle. 

He holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Seoul National University. During his Master's program, he developed a convolutional neural network for predicting two-dimensional core power distributions in PWRs, demonstrating strong research and analytical capabilities. 

With this wealth of experience and expertise, he is committed to achieving successful outcomes as a technical sales professional within the NewEnergy Future Strategy Team. 

Greg joined Aecon Nuclear in January 2021 to lead the sector’s Nuclear Strategy and Business Development activities focusing on medium to long term opportunities aligned with Aecon’s growth objectives.  In early 2022 he assumed additional responsibility of Business Services including Engineering, Procurement, Proposals & Estimating. 

Greg has held progressively senior level roles within Supply Chain, Project Management, Commercial Strategy and Business Development over the past 17 years in the nuclear industry working for both Bruce Power and Ontario Power Generation (OPG). Prior to his career in Nuclear, Greg has experience in various industries including Manufacturing, Defense, and Automotive.  He has traveled extensively and conducted business internationally while established and building long-term strategic relationships for various organizations.  Greg lived in Germany in 2005-2007 to lead and support a strategic growth initiative for the Volvo AB in the central European Market, focusing on European Supply Chain development initiatives for European operations.

Her career encompasses leadership roles in commercial strategy, regulatory compliance, and renewable energy synergies, ensuring nuclear initiatives align with global standards and sustainable finance frameworks.

Mr. Jones is a Senior Director for Westinghouse in the nuclear engineering and power industry.  He is currently leading all new advanced Reactor Plant Projects as Procurement Director supporting the AP1000 Nuclear Power Plant globally, as well as Westinghouse new reactors.  In his career, he has supported global clients in developing new suppliers in the Nuclear industry.  He has led teams that have delivered equipment and engineered materials valued at over $10 Billion in his career in locations in China, the United States and now Europe.  

Mr. Jones and his teams provide an integrated set of procurement services for these clients including program management, engineering, quality, project controls and data management.  He has personally supported several clients in leading the localization and development of new procurement sources.  Marquee projects include services for the four AP1000® operating plants in China as well as the two AP1000 ® units operating in the United States. 

Mr. Jones has over 25 years of programs, projects, business, operations and engineering experience in the Nuclear & Aviation industries.  In his career he has worked on long-term assignments in China.  He started his career as a U.S. Marine operating helicopters in various global theaters.  He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. 

As Vice-President, Supply Chain management, Adrian leads the company’s overall supply chain strategy. He is responsible for all operational procurement, key business relationships, supply chain strategy & development, growth opportunities and organizational objectives. Before joining Candu Energy in 2024, Adrian spent 40 years managing supply chains in the UK, Europe, Middle East & North Africa, and since 2016 in Canada and the United States. He has experience across a variety of sectors, mainly in Construction and Oil & Gas Adrian has worked at companies including Graham Group, Carillion PLC, and Dodsal Engineering & 
Construction among others.
Adrian is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply, and Supply Chain Canada Association. Adrian recently joined the board of the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI).

Nora Signor joined the EDF Group as Supply Chain Senior Vice President in January 2024. With 20 years of experience in the automotive industry (Stellantis), Nora Signor has held several senior management positions in the areas of purchasing & Supply Chain, project management, planning, business 
development, M&A and quality in manufacturing.

From 2006 to 2016, she held different positions within the Purchasing Division, including cooperation with Ford on diesel engines, with responsibility for establishing and managing the sourcing plan for both companies. From 2016 to 2019, Nora was leading technological transversal projects as Head of Modules Systems (Cockpits, Seats, Access System, etc) for all Stellantis brands. 
Nora Signor has also defined and implemented Stellantis' new Planning governance under the direction of the group's Chief Planning Officer (EVP). She contributed to the merger of PSA and FCA (closing), and was involved in all phases (Due Diligence until the MOU, preparation of the merger and day 1). In July 2023, she held the position of Head of New Electric Vehicles Program involving more than 800 employees in different areas (Design, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Cost…) with a total amount of investment of 1 B€.
Nora Signor is a graduate engineer from the Institut Mines Telecom Nord Europe (France), IAE Paris, Sorbonne. She has also completed the Stellantis LEAD Programme, and the Merger & Acquisition Programme of the London Business School (United Kingdom).

Group Director Energy Programmes, responsible for Amentum’s delivery to clients in major new build programmes across the UK and Europe. Gareth has dedicated the past 21 years to Amentum (previously Jacobs), where he has held various project leadership roles, primarily within the Nuclear and Pharmaceutical sectors. His extensive experience and expertise have been instrumental in the successful execution of numerous high-profile projects and programmes. Prior to his current role Gareth lead Amentums efforts in Poland to both bring international experience to the Poland Nuclear Industry but also to invest locally in a sustainable services supply chain and a Nuclear Centre of Excellence.

Gareth has a deep belief in international cooperation and collaboration and has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, innovation, and the advancement of critical infrastructure projects.

Jun Tang is Vice President of Marketing & Sales at BWXT Canada Ltd. a subsidiary of BWX Technologies Inc., headquartered in Lynchburg, VA.  

BWXT’s Canada operations serve the global commercial nuclear power industry with engineering, critical components, services and fuel, and it serves the nuclear medicine industry with medical isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals. 

Jun’s 29-year career with BWXT Canada Ltd includes 17 years as a BWXT Canada executive leading marketing and sales for the organization’s nuclear equipment and service business. Jun originally joined BWXT Canada Ltd. as a Design Engineer and has held progressively responsible positions as a project manager, manager marketing & sales, etc. This executive position plays a key role in determining business strategy and product/services sales activities in both Canada and international markets. 

Jun had also sat on the Board of Directors for the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries for 10 years helping strengthen nuclear supply chain and promote a robust nuclear power industry in Canada. 

Ayako Suzuki has been General Manager of Nuclear Engineering and Product Division at Hitachi-GE Nuclear Energy (HGNE) since April 2025. The Division’s responsibility is to lead overall engineering, 
fabrication and procurement for nuclear energy business. From 2022 to March 2025, she was General Manager of Project Management Department. Her focus was BWRX300, an economic competitive SMR which has been developed with GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GEH). From 2017 to March 2022, she was a section manager of Nuclear Engineering and Product Department. She was responsible for the design of Nuclear Auxiliary components in Japan. From 2013 to March 2014, she had been stationed as a Liaison Manager at GEH in Wilmington, NC to represent HGNE. Her role was to make coordination between two alliance companies. 
Before 2013, she was a mechanical engineer and was involved in the design of the containment vessels of the Japanese nuclear power plant. 
She started his careers in Hitachi in 1999. Within her nearly 25 years’ experience in Hitachi, she has been always working on nuclear.

Gary Wolski served in the U.S. Navy’s nuclear power program, supported the U.S. Department of Energy’s mission at Hanford in nuclear power operations and maintenance engineering, and was a contractor supporting civil nuclear power plant outages in the U.S.  For nearly thirty years, he has been with Curtiss-Wright, working in the Nuclear Division in sales, marketing, business development and management and lead’s Curtiss-Wright’s effort to grow their global civil nuclear power business. 

Byeonghee (BH) Lee is currently serving as a Senior Manager for SMR Business Development at Doosan Enerbility's Nuclear Business Group. With over a decade of experience in business development, he has been a pivotal figure in various projects since joining the company in 2008. 

His journey began with the design and project management for EPC service of Power and Desalination projects, which laid a strong foundation for his understanding of large-scale infrastructure projects. Throughout his tenure, he has successfully developed multi-billion-dollar projects, demonstrating his exceptional project management skills and comprehensive understanding of complex systems. 

In his current role, he is dedicated to the advancement and commercialization of Small Modular Reactors from the perspective of a manufacturing specialist. He collaborates closely with leading SMR technical developers, leveraging his expertise to drive innovation and ensure the successful deployment of cutting-edge SMR technologies. His strategic vision and industry insight position him as a key contributor to the future of nuclear energy and the ongoing global transition to more sustainable energy solutions.

Nathan lead’s the World Nuclear Association programme of supply chain activity and engagements. This includes outreach with key stakeholders, industry and those seeking deliver a robust international supply chain. 

Marc Tannenbaum is a Principal Technical Executive at EPRI responsible for nuclear procurement engineering and supply chain activities including EPRI’s Procurement Engineering and Related Topics Symposium (PEARTS). 

Marc’s career started as a construction engineer at a civil nuclear station. During operation, Marc worked as a procurement engineer, eventually providing, and managing consulting services to establish and optimize procurement engineering and supply chain processes in U.S. and Canadian utilities. 

For the last 18 years, March has played a key role at EPRI, spearheading development of guidance in critical areas like obsolescence management, commercial-grade item dedication, reverse engineering, equivalency evaluation, supplier assessment, and preventing the use of counterfeit and fraudulent items. He recently led development of guidance for nuclear new-build procurement requirements to significantly improve the ability to support operations, and collaborated with WNA to complete an EPRI study examining the experience and efficacy of commercial-grade item dedication. 

Holds an engineering degree from ENSMM, a French Engineering School, and “Executive MBA” from HEC, ranking #1 by Financial Time. He possesses 24 years of experience.

After obtaining his engineering degree, he joined ASSYSTEM Group and made all his career within the company. He started as mechanical engineer for the automotive sector in France and succeeded in reaching a wide range of positions within the Group allowing him to carry out international missions, to manage projects, to handle Business Units and to lead Key Account Relationships.

Today, Guillaume assumes the role of Vice President for International Energy Business, leading the development and the delivery of Owner Engineering roles at the international level with a clear priority on the nuclear market and on Green Energy infrastructures.

Guillaume is a Member of the Group Executive Committee. He is also Managing Director or Assystem’s representative for some Joint Ventures in which Assystem is a shareholder, to address various customers or regions in the world.

Ruth has responsibility and oversight of the Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Construction and Operations functions. Her focus is on industrialising the manufacture, construction and assembly of the Rolls Royce SMR powerplant. 

Ruth has held senior roles in some of the UK’s largest infrastructure programmes and has a wealth of experience in transformational management and leading complex programmes. Ruth most recently headed up the Commercial Directorate within the UK’s High Speed 2 (HS2) programme, leading on procurement, commercial and contract management, including land and property related activity. 

Ruth also has significant prior career experience from the Covid-19 Vaccine Task Force, where she led the programme to deliver coronavirus vaccines for the UK receiving a CBE in recognition of her contribution. Prior to this, Ruth was Commercial Director at the Submarine Delivery Agency, an executive agency of the Ministry of Defence. She previously worked for Babcock International where she managed the Land Equipment (military vehicles and other army equipment) support supply chain. Prior to that she was programme director for Jaguar Land Rover, improving their inbound supply chain. 

Ruth has a degree in Manufacturing Engineering and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. 

Marc Duret is Director Development and Sales for the Framatome division in charge of delivering new nuclear projects and manufacturing components. Marc is responsible for developing the products to meet future market needs, industrial footprint including strategic partnerships and acquisitions, business opportunities, and operational performance of sales. While driving growth in Framatome’s core business and amplifying nuclear power’s contribution to net-zero carbon initiatives, Marc leads his team with excellence in safety, quality, performance and delivery.

Previously, Marc held executive positions on the Olkiluoto 3 project in Finland. Through a series of increased responsibilities, Marc was appointed International Offers Director within Framatome’s New Builds Business Unit, where he led the negotiations for the Hinkley Point C project, moving on to being Deputy Project Director for Hinkley Point C. He was then appointed Managing Director of Framatome UK ltd., located in London, responsible for Framatome’s development of business operations, customer relationships and project successes in the UK.

Marc transitioned to Framatome from Cogema where he began his career in 1992. He held positions in nuclear fuel reprocessing and nuclear waste treatment at the La Hague plant. As International Business Manager for the Areva reprocessing Business Unit, Marc was in charge of development activities in the United States, United Kingdom and Japan. He was soon promoted to Deputy Vice President for Sustainable Development and Continuous Improvement for the reprocessing Business Unit at Areva.

Marc earned a master’s degree in chemical engineering, and holds an MBA from the Imperial College of London. He attended Executive MBA programs from HEC Paris and the Harvard School of Business. Marc is a certified and licensed Project Management Professional (PMP®).

After completing his master's degree in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at the Graduate School of Engineering, Hokkaido University, Sou Ueda started his career as a steelmaking engineer at JSW, where he was involved in the development of high alloy steel for many years. He then took on leadership roles in production management, procurement, and engineering services. In 2019, he became the Deputy Plant Manager of Muroran Plant. When JSW M&E became a subsidiary of JSW in April 2020, he was the Deputy Plant Manager. He was promoted to Plant Manager in 2024 and has been serving as the President of JSW M&E since April 2025.

Andrei Goicea graduated in 2002 both the University Politehnica of Bucharest - Faculty of Power Engineering as a nuclear engineer and the “Spiru Haret” University, Marketing and Foreign Trade Faculty as economist. He is also holding a master at the University Politehnica of Bucharest - Faculty of Power Engineering in nuclear safety and radiological protection from 2003.

Starting with May 2015 he is at nucleareurope (formerly named FORATOM), currently holding the Policy Director position, after he previously worked at Nuclearelectrica – Romania (2003 – 2013) and Mochovce Units 3 and 4 Project in Slovakia (2013-2015). From his current position he is dealing with the European policy matters with impact on the nuclear sector.

Connor Deehan is a Chartered Mechanical and Chartered Nuclear Engineer, leading PA’s Advanced Nuclear Technologies business. As a leader in transformation, innovation, and engineering, Connor brings over two decades of expertise in the nuclear sector. He has successfully orchestrated high-impact projects encompassing strategy development, business design, transformative change, supply chain strategy, and complex programme and project management. Connor's experience spans the entire nuclear landscape, providing strategic support to decommissioning and generating organisations, radiopharma entities, and pioneering organisations focused on advancing new nuclear technologies. His work has empowered a diverse array of stakeholders, from investors to technology providers, driving significant advancements in the field. Connor has held industry-wide roles as a Nuclear Institute Trustee, Chair of the Nuclear Industry Association business group, and is active in the Advanced Nuclear Technologies working group. 

Jon Franke is OPG’s Senior Vice President for the Darlington New Nuclear Project. In his role he is leading the development of the operational and maintenance strategy and programs to ready the station for transition to an operating station.

Prior to his present role, Jon was assigned as OPG’s Senior Vice President for the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station, responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the 6-unit nuclear site. 

Prior to joining OPG in June of 2020, Jon held a variety of executive roles within the US electrical utility industry.  While working for Pacific Gas & Electric Jon served as the Vice President Power Generation, overseeing the operation of a 5400 MW generation fleet consisting of 65 hydro stations, a 1200 MW pumped storage station, two combined cycle stations and four solar facilities.   Jon also was the executive leading the nuclear decommissioning of the Humbolt Bay nuclear plant and preparation for the eventual decommissioning of the Diablo Canyon station.  Prior to that Jon served as Site Vice President for Talen Energy’s Susquehanna Nuclear Plant leading that station through significant performance improvement as noted by the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) peer review.  Jon held a series of roles for Duke Energy and predecessor companies at the Brunswick Nuclear Station and the Crystal River 3 Nuclear plant where he served as Site Vice President.

Over Jon’s 36-year career he has held a wide variety of power generation leadership roles.  These include Station System Engineering manager, Project Management, Control Room Supervisor, Design Control Manager, Engineering Director, Plant General Manager, Director Site Operations and Senior Vice President Fleet Operations.

Following his graduation from the United States Naval Academy with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Jon served as a US naval officer on surface ships, as deck officer and navigator on a destroyer and principal assistant to the Reactor Officer aboard a nuclear powered aircraft carrier where he led the operation of the ship’s dual reactor propulsion plant.  Jon has held a Senior Reactor License from the US Nuclear Reactor Commission.   He has a MS Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and an MBA with a utility focus from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
